Slated to last 35 months, the work will be performed by a building consortium involving project leader Colas Nord-Picardie (34%), Bouygues TP Régions France (33%) and DTP Terrassement (33%). This will include the construction of a 7-km section of 2-lane road, 4 engineering structures as well as a 275-meter long cut-and-cover tunnel, for an initial investment of 62 million euros.
Once the section has been opened up to traffic, maintenance, operation and major repairs and upgrades will be performed by Aximum, a Colas company, for a duration of 22 years.
