Bouygues Energies & Services acquires SEA Productique to strengthen its expertise in industrie 4.0

Bouygues Energies & Services is pleased to announce the acquisition of SEA PRODUCTIQUE, a well-known integrator of robotics, automation and industrial IT solutions. This acquisition demonstrates the ambition of Bouygues Energies & Services in the Industry 4.0 market.
Industry 4.0 is seen as a priority for strategic development that helps manufacturers to improve the performance of their sites and processes. Thanks to SEA PRODUCTIQUE, Bouygues Energies & Service will be strengthening its expertise in automation. 80 employees – sales staff, engineers and technicians – have joined its teams, working in four design offices: automation/robotics, industrial IT, mechanical engineering and electrical engineering.
With SEA PRODUCTIQUE, Bouygues Energies & Services is supplementing its global offer, from engineering to maintenance (engineering design, industrial works, automation, industrial transfer and industrial maintenance) and expanding its territorial coverage in France with new customers and partners.
Based in Nantes ever since its creation in 1991 by Daniel Durand, director and shareholder, SEA PRODUCTIQUE has developed a diversified portfolio of around 350 projects per year throughout France in key sectors such as the agri-food, manufacturing and pharmaceutical industries. In 2019, SEA PRODUCTIQUE generated revenues of €16.8 m.
SEA PRODUCTIQUE will form part of the Energy and Industry division of Bouygues Energies & Services and will be incorporated into its Automation business unit. This business unit now employs more than 160 specialists in the areas of automation, industrial IT and robotics.
